As soon as Heath lit the candle, Mason blew it out.

We barely had time to say happy.

So Heath lit the candle again. 

Mason loved blowing out the 

candle so as soon as he blew it out,

he would say more. 

We did this over and over. 

Just waiting...

and Heath lit the candle....again.

Saying "Happy" then blowing the candle out.

Finally, decided to eat a cupcake.

A kiss for daddy.

Giving Mimi a bite.

A bite for Mommy.

Then a bite for Mason.

Blue.

Yes, Mason likes his Blue's Clues.

Any paw print he sees is a clue.

I decided Blue's Clues would be a fun 

theme for his birthday.

We decided to buy Mason a workbench for this birthday.

So I made a Blue's Clue game for the present. 

I made all the characters from Blue's Clues to 

help Mason find the clues.

He was excited to see his very own notebook.

I ordered his gift on Monday. Yes, I know I almost waited too long, 

but Little Tikes & UPS saved the day. 

His workbench arrived during his nap on his birthday!!

So daddy put it together in our bedroom while Mason slept.

Mason woke up from his nap to find Blue.

He was excited to have Blue at his house.

Happy!

Telling everyone there was a clue.

HAPPY.

the Lake.

On June 4 & 5, we went to the lake with Heath's boss & his family.

We went to the Lake of the Ozarks...which is a very pretty lake in Missouri.

We went on the boat...after a couple minutes Mason was out.

This rarely happens, he usually has to be in his crib or in a car seat to sleep.

He slept the whole time.

Daddy caught a fish. 

Mason didn't know what to think about that.

He likes bridges, and we have to watch for bridges as

we drive around town.

"why"

If we tell Mason to do something or not to do something, 

he will ask "why?" Heath has been answering him with 

"because I said so." Tonight Heath had the chance to ask Mason 

"why?"...and Mason looked at Heath and he said "said so." 

some days...

you just need a cookie.

or to stay in bed longer...

Some days you just need to slide...

or swing at the park...

or clean the house...

Some days you just need a little music...

or to play on the computer...

but every day you need a hug & kiss...

the pool.

Memaw got Mason a pool for our yard.

He saw it and said "Wow Water"

Then he smiles and claps...and he is ready to go again.
