Catch Up.

Well it's been a few days.

1. My parents came out to visit, and we had a really good time. We ate a lot of good food in Kansas, looked for deer (of course), spent a day at the Plaza (which is really pretty!), and did a little shopping. Mom brought her new puppy, Kenzi. Maci loved it. :)

2. Thanksgiving was good. We spent the day around the house, and Heath deep-fried a turkey (our neighbors love us, ha). Then after we ate, we put up Christmas decorations...it won't be long :) It was great getting to spend our first Thanksgiving together, but we did miss seeing our family. I missed eating my mamaw's cooking mostly. YUM. We are going back to Tennessee for Christmas, so at least we get to spend one holiday with our family. We have a lot to be thankful for this year.

3. and the most IMPORTANT....we are going to be PARENTS! Another Heath Taylor, oh no but it's a possibility!lol We found a while back, but we just couldn't decide how we would tell everyone. We wanted to tell everyone in person, but Christmas would have been hard trying to work around the different schedules. So right before Thanksgiving we decided to mail out Christmas cards with a picture of the ultrasound to our family. The mail didn't work out just as we planned, but at least everyone knows now. In our parent's we put, "Just wanted to give you all your Christmas present a little early. It's the most expensive gift we could think of." :) My mom is going to be a GRANNY( haha she is going to kill me for that) My due date is July 3. I just thought about it today, THAT'S IN THE MIDDLE OF TORNADO SEASON!!!! and I'm in KANSAS!! ha oh no. I'll be having a baby in the hospital basement. GREAT.

6 MONTHS!!!!

Today is 6 months since MAY 10, 2008 (Our wedding day, incase you forgot!) WoOhOo..I can't believe it's already been six months. That means I've almost been living in Kansas for 6 months! I can't believe it. Sometimes I ask myself, "Are you really living in Kansas?" Yeah, I'm here. BUT besides that I am really glad to be married to Heath Aaron Taylor. I really believe God gives you the desires of your heart IF you will trust him. (Delight yourself in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4) Why do I believe that? Because I'm living it....God answered my prayers with an amazing man that I love dearly. Maybe later I'll write the detailed story, but I have to keep you coming back :)

Well my parents are coming to visit on the 12th....and I am super excited. I like when people come to visit us because we actually get to spend time with them. It's hard when we go back to visit for a weekend because we have so many people we want to see and only a few hours. We have been in 3 times, and there are still people we haven't been able to see. It's kinda sad. We do miss everyone. (So come to Kansas, ha!)

It's nice watching TV without all the political ads. I just wonder what the next four years will be like.......

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!

Keeping in Touch

I just started our blog page today. Since we live in Kansas, we don't get to keep in touch with everyone as much as we would like. Most of the time I play phone tag with many of my friends before actually getting the chance to "catch up." So I thought I would just start a blog page as a way to keep in touch with family and friends. We do like living in Kansas, but we do miss everyone. So when you are online, just check our page to see how we are doing, and don't forget to call us too! :)
