We just got back from visiting Heath in South Dakota. Mason has definitely traveled his first 15 months of life. I was nervous about this trip. Mason does great riding in the car, but Mason likes to sleep in his own crib. The last time we went to South Dakota, Mason had an ear infection.....which meant not sleeping at night. However, this trip went really well.
After our drive, we stopped by the job site to see Heath. Mason saw his daddy walking up to the car, and Mason had the biggest smile on his face. It was such a sweet moment. It was nice to be in South Dakota spending time with Heath. We sure do miss him. I know Heath enjoyed spending time with Mason and having someone to cook for him. The only bad part was we realized we are not ready for the cold weather! It was in the 30's this morning. BRRR!
